New! Thomas Chipman Sweet Potato Chips

SweetPotato_Post2

When is a potato not a potato? When it’s a sweet potato, of course!

Botanically unrelated to the humble potato, the sweet potato has long been regarded as the “most delicate root that may be eaten”.

Originating in tropical South America and introduced to Europe by Columbus in the late 15th century, the sweet potato quickly became a vegetable favourite among the royalty of England and Europe.

Although considered by many as a “food of the rich”, due to it’s rareness and price, it wasn’t long before the popularity of the sweet potato had spread to other parts of the world.

Thus, we can only imagine as to how and where Thomas Chipman made his personal discovery of the venerable sweet potato.

But it is hardly surprising that he would soon attempt to transform this sweet flavoured, long, tapered root into yet another delectable chip for our enjoyment.

No doubt, on bite will quickly confirm that he has succeeded in creating a chip for a king – the Thomas Chipman Organic Sweet Potato Chip.

Fact or fiction?
Try them and decide for yourself.
